Church Ceremony Layout

Processional:

The Processional gives you the option to have a separate piece of music for the bridal party to the bridal Entrance. It is basically the music for the flower girls, ring bearers, bridesmaids, etc. Processional music starts as soon as the bridal party enters the church and continues until the bride is ready to walk down the aisle.

Entrance

The Brides Entrance music starts as soon as the bride enters the church and continues until the bride is at the top of the alter and mass is ready to begin.

In some cases, this song may continue into the Lighting of the Individual Candles below but it is good to have an option for it also just to be safe!

Responsorial Psalm

This is the part of the ceremony where one piece of music will be played in between the First and Second Reading in the mass.

We strongly advise a hymn to be placed into this part of the ceremony.

Communion

Depending on how many guests are present, you could require two songs for communion. Always have two chosen, your favourite being number one, to be safe and the musicians will judge whether or not the second song is needed at the time.

Generally, you should pick at least Two songs for this part of the ceremony. There is more freedom with the song choices here as the mass is over. Sometimes your photographer might plan to take a couple of photos at this stage which might require more time. If this is part of the photographers' plans then we would advise choosing Three songs here just in case.
